Audition Process
•Bullet: Audition required for admission to the CWU Department of Music
•Bullet: Audition in person on a January/February campus audition date, or submit a recorded audition online through Acceptd
•Bullet: Auditions run about 10 minutes and include performance plus a brief discussion of your goals and fit
•Bullet: First preference for admission and scholarship goes to students who audition before March 1
Audition Expectations
•Bullet: Prepare your material under the guidance of a private teacher or music director when possible
•Bullet: Arrive at least 10 minutes early for in-person auditions and dress professionally
•Bullet: Complete the Supplemental Audition Information Form and bring or upload it with your submission
