Audition Process
•Audition or portfolio review is for scholarship consideration only — not required for program admission
•Any student admitted to CWRU may declare a theater major with a General Theater concentration
•In-Person October Theater Weekend: October 2-3, 2026 at CWRU campus
•In-Person November Theater Weekend: November 13-14, 2026 at CWRU campus
•In-Person February Theater Weekend: February 19-20, 2027 at CWRU campus
•Individual Campus Visit: schedule with Professor Bohan during the school week
•Arts Supplement: upload materials to CWRU application Arts Supplement (due by February 1, 2027)
Audition Expectations
•General Theater students may present an acting audition, design/tech portfolio, directing portfolio, or writing sample
•See concentration-specific requirements for details on each format
Decisions
•Award selections made in first week of March
•Included in Regular Decision admission letters (second or third week of March)
