First-year theatre majors follow an assigned cohort schedule for the first two semesters (30 credits)

New majors are assigned a faculty mentor in the 4th week of their first semester

Audition Process

New theatre majors are assigned a theatre faculty mentor in the 4th week of their first semester

Post-Enrollment

All students take Acting I and Stagecraft I in their first semester

After first semester, students choose the Acting concentration and take Acting II

Faculty mentor assists with course planning and transfer preparation

Awards include Acting Award, Tech Award, Stage Management Award, Departmental Service Award, Chairperson's Award, and the Leroy Paves Scholarship Fund

Leroy Paves Scholarship Fund requires demonstrated merit with a minimum 3.0 GPA in the major
