Program Recognition
•All incoming minors must pass a Theory Evaluation Test before enrolling in Music Theory I, completing Fundamentals of Music Theory (MUS 101) first if the exam shows gaps, and questions about the minor are directed to Minor Advisor Dr. Andrew Weaver (source: music.catholic.edu/academics/undergraduate/minors/index.html)
Training
•The 20-credit Minor in Music offers a "with performance" and a "without performance" option, both open only to non-music majors; the performance option requires a 10-minute proficiency audition in three contrasting classical styles (composers submit original works instead), while the non-performance option requires no audition (source: music.catholic.edu/academics/undergraduate/minors/index.html)
