� Modern Jazz Dance coursework through Kinesiology Department

PRODUCTIONS & FACILITIES

� Five-production live performance season each year

� 300-seat mainstage theatre, intimate studio theatre, and outdoor amphitheater

� Rehearsal & Performance coursework required every semester (6 units total)

PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY

� Ensemble-based collective approach � no stars, collaborative ethic

� Close one-on-one faculty interaction on a ~9,000-student campus

� Prepares graduates for professional musical theatre careers and graduate program auditions

� History of American Musical Theatre course builds critical context

� No audition required for admission

� University application via Cal State Apply

� No separate department application � admission based on university acceptance

� 120 total units required for graduation (59 major + ~12 free electives + GE requirements)
