SCHOLARSHIP TIMELINE
•Apply by November 1 for Early Action consideration

What's The Process
ADMISSION PROCESS
•No audition required — admission is through the university application
•Students apply to Creighton University and declare Theatre as their intended major
PROGRAM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
•Must successfully complete THR 131 (Acting I) with a grade of B- or higher
•Must successfully complete THR 153 (Stagecraft) with a grade of B- or higher
•Both courses must be completed prior to full acceptance into the major
•All majors fulfill production requirements through active participation in Creighton productions
Scholarship Info
GRACE KEENAN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
•$4,000 renewable scholarship for incoming freshmen majoring or minoring in visual or performing arts
•Requires 2.5 cumulative GPA for renewal; must declare major/minor by junior year
•Application due January 10 via New Student Portal
KEENAN SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION — PERFORMANCE
•Prepare two contrasting monologues (classical to contemporary; comedy or drama), one minute each
•Complete a short interview with Theatre faculty
•Online option: perform two contrasting monologues on video
-Virtual interview via Zoom scheduled in early February
REQUIRED MATERIALS
•Fine and Performing Arts resume
•Scholarship essay
•Letter of recommendation (recommended, not required)
