What's The Process

ADMISSION PROCESS

No pre-admission audition required — admission is through the university application
Students enter as declared or intended Musical Theatre majors

INTERNAL BFA REVIEW

All BFA candidates must successfully pass a faculty review through the Dance, Music, and Theatre faculty
Must complete DAN 101 Introduction to the Dance (or equivalent) with a grade of B- or higher
Must complete MUS 161 Applied Music I-Voice with a grade of B- or higher
Must complete THR 131 Acting I with a grade of B- or higher
Successful completion of these prerequisites is required before full acceptance into the BFA program

Scholarship Info

GRACE KEENAN ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

$4,000 scholarship for incoming freshmen majoring in visual or performing arts
Awarded annually to eligible students in the Fine and Performing Arts department

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

All applicants automatically considered for merit-based scholarships
Apply by December 1 for priority scholarship consideration
Apply by March 15 for general merit scholarship consideration
