These requirements are from the Fall 2026 entry cycle. Fall 2027 requirements are typically posted between August and October and usually change only slightly — confirm on the official source before submitting.

Repertoire List

Two or three contrasting works from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, or 20th-century style periods, performed from memory

Suggested repertoire includes Bach preludes and fugues or three-part inventions; the first movement of a Haydn, Mozart, or Beethoven sonata; or works by major Romantic and later composers

Letter of Recommendation (Required)

Music teacher recommendation letter submitted to the Office of Admissions
