Audition Requirements

Songs

THREE SELECTIONS

•Perform three selections from memory with piano accompaniment

•Art songs or arias preferred for at least two selections

•Performance majors encouraged to sing at least one piece in a non-English language (Italian, German, or French)

•Third selection may be a musical theatre piece

Accompaniment

•All vocalists must sing with live piano accompaniment

•Recorded accompaniment is not permitted

•No a cappella singing

Additional Materials

Letter of recommendation (required)

•Music teacher recommendation letter submitted to the Office of Admissions
