•Instrumental and Classroom K-12 track prepares students for Minnesota licensure in Instrumental and K-12 Classroom Music
•Track coursework includes instrumental literature and arranging, brass methods, percussion methods, woodwind methods, string methods, instrumental ensemble, accompanying, and instrumental conducting apprenticeship
•Students may complete both the instrumental and vocal tracks to become eligible for both licenses
Professional Development
•Program combines music coursework, education methods, practicum, and student teaching toward Minnesota teacher preparation
•Licensure guidance is Minnesota-specific; students planning to teach elsewhere should check that state licensing board before enrolling
