ONE MONOLOGUE from the department's provided list
•Recorded in a single, continuous take (no edits)
•Whole body must be visible at all times
•Selections include classical and contemporary works (Shakespeare, Chekhov, Miller, Parks, Tremblay, and more)

•ONE-MINUTE INTRO VIDEO: speak about who you are as an actor/artist and why you're interested in the program, include your full name and current residence
•ONE-MINUTE MOVEMENT PIECE: character-based physical performance with minimal dialogue, clear beginning/middle/end, told theatrically through body language
-Can involve mime, dance-theatre, acrobatics, clown, stage combat, or any other physical performance style
-Costumes, props, music, or other performers allowed
-Must be a single continuous take
•LETTER OF INTENT (1-2 pages, Word or PDF)
-Why you want to study Acting for the Theatre at Concordia
-Personal background, talents, and cultural connections
-Goals and meaningful theatre/performance experiences

What's The Process
PRESCREEN:
•Video submission required before callback invitation
•Submit prescreen materials by March 1 (February 1 recommended for early consideration)
•Strongly encouraged to submit all materials by February 1
LIVE CALLBACK:
•Short-listed applicants invited to group callback on March 21 or 22 in Montreal
•In-person attendance encouraged; Zoom option available
•Arrive 30 minutes early for in-person, 10 minutes early for Zoom

Scholarship Info
OUT-OF-PROVINCE AWARDS (university-level, auto-awarded)
•Canada Scholars Awards: $1,500–$4,000 in year one, renewable annually
-Amount varies by admission average (B- through A+)
•Canada Transfer Student Awards: $2,000 (non-renewable)
•Indigenous Student Awards: $3,000 annually, renewable
•No separate application needed — automatically awarded at admission
•Must be Canadian students or permanent residents from outside Quebec
