Post-Enrollment Audition Requirements

These requirements are from the Fall 2026 entry cycle. Fall 2027 requirements are typically posted between August and October and usually change only slightly — confirm on the official source before submitting.

Admission Pathway

Incoming dance students apply to CU Boulder as BA Dance; the BFA is an internal or transfer pathway, not a direct first-year entry major

Transfer applicants use the BFA in Dance transfer application when the pathway is available

Program Requirements

BFA students must maintain a 3.2 GPA in required dance and theatre courses

BFA students present original choreographic work each semester and complete a senior concert
