Program Requirements

•44 credit hours in theatre, 3 in dance, and 6 in dramatic literature and/or global arts outside the department

•Grade of C- or better needed in each required course with overall theatre GPA of 2.00

What's The Process

•No auditions required prior to admission to the BA in Theatre

•Students may audition for BFA concentrations (Acting, Musical Theatre, DTM) after enrolling

•Placement process for specific theatre courses during first week of classes each semester

Scholarship Info

•Talent & Creativity Scholarships awarded annually to undergraduate theatre majors based on service and involvement — typically $250-$1,500

•Juliana & Sean Crouch Theatre Scholarship available for in-state undergraduates with financial need

•Mable Gaiser Borgmann Memorial Scholarship for outstanding student actors
