Audition Process
•Submit the music audition application via Acceptd
•All applicants complete a 20-minute interview and audition with the music therapy faculty; choose in-person or virtual (Zoom)
Music Therapy Interview & Audition
•Sing three prepared songs from different genres (children’s, popular, country)
•Sight-read rhythms and demonstrate play-by-ear / pitch-matching ability
•Interview about your understanding of music therapy and fit for the program
Applied Studio Track
•Also complete a separate instrument or voice audition meeting the requirements for your chosen studio
•10–15 minute playing audition and interview with an applied music faculty panel
No Applied Studio Track
•Only the music therapy interview/audition is required — no separate instrument audition
Decisions
•Acceptance and scholarship notifications released on a rolling basis
