Audition Process
•Upload to YouTube as UNLISTED — no other platforms accepted
•Record in landscape orientation from a fixed camera position
•Must clearly show full face and entire body, plus accompanist if applicable
•No digital alteration of video or audio
•Videos must be recorded within the last year
•Separate videos for each selection permitted
•Slate each selection: name, title of composition, composer
•Email video links to Dr. Christopher McKim indicating online audition
•Apply for CMU general admission and financial aid
•Confirm audition materials with voice instructor Dr. Christopher McKim (cmckim@coloradomesa.edu)
Audition Expectations
•In-person audition or recorded video submission accepted
•Includes CMU music orientation, theory placement test, and audition performance
•Audition also serves as scholarship audition
•Accompanist provided at on-campus dates
