•Liberal-arts BA in Dance built on technique in modern, jazz, ballet, and tap, each offered from beginning through professional levels
•Coursework spans composition, improvisation, pedagogy, dance history, the healthy dancer, and repertory performance
•Faculty are working artistic directors, performers, and choreographers across multiple dance forms
Performance & Productions
•Perform every semester beginning in the first year, across faculty- and student-produced dance concerts
•Choreograph original works and dance in repertory by visiting guest artists
•Attend and perform at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) conference annually
•Senior Capstone and Student Showcase to present original research and choreography
•Student-led Dance Society with officer leadership roles
Facilities
•Performs in the Moss Performing Arts Center: the 588-seat Robinson Theatre, 288-seat Love Recital Hall, and 125-seat Mesa Experimental Theatre (MET) black box
