•Bullet: Two-year instrumental performance program built around Applied Music - Technique, private instruction on the student's instrument evaluated each term through a juried performance
•Bullet: Coursework includes Beginning Voice I and II, Piano I and II, and four semesters of music theory (Theory I through IV)

•Bullet: Required participation in one large instrumental ensemble each year: Orchestra or Concert Band
•Bullet: Additional ensemble electives: Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Chamber Music Ensemble, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Musical Comedy Workshop
•Bullet: Guitar and Piano majors may substitute Concert Choir for Concert Band as their large ensemble
