Training
•Certificate combines acting, voice, dance, musical theatre history, and musical theatre performance coursework. Students build skills in interpreting scripts and songs while training across multiple dance styles.
Performance & Productions
•Fall main stage musical at the McCallum Theatre is mounted by audition, while the spring Musical Theatre Workshop is open enrollment. Musical Theatre Performance courses give students repeated opportunities to apply acting, singing, and dance skills in staged work.
Professional Development
•The curriculum introduces professional ethics and the physical and emotional demands of a musical theatre career, giving students an interdisciplinary foundation they can continue through Music and Theatre AA-T coursework.
