Training
•18-unit Technical Theatre AA program for entry-level technical theatre training or transfer preparation
•Course sequence includes Understanding Theatre, Stagecraft, Color and Design for the Theatre, Costume Design, Lighting Design, and Technical Theatre I
•Students choose at least two additional units from Work Experience Education Technical Theatre or Technical Theatre II; work experience is the preferred option
•Work Experience Education Technical Theatre is repeatable for up to 16 units
Professional Development
•Builds safe construction and installation techniques across scenery, lighting, and costumes
•Prepares students for resident and touring theatres, theme parks, television, motion pictures, or transfer to a four-year program
