PROGRAM RECOGNITION
•Students can showcase their work locally and nationally through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
TRAINING
•The Theatre Program offers broad study in acting, voice and movement, directing, stage combat, technical production, design, stagecraft, lighting, and costume technology.
•CSN presents three productions each academic year in the Backstage Theatre on the North Las Vegas Campus.
•Students participate in productions as performers, stage managers, designers, and crew members.
DEGREE FLEXIBILITY
•The Associate of Arts in Theatre is intended for transfer to UNLV or UNR after advising.

•Apply through CSN's school-wide admissions process as a degree-seeking student; there is no separate theatre application or prescreen portal.
•CSN accepts applications year-round under an open-enrollment policy.
•New students pay a one-time $20 application fee, with deferral available until tuition is due for eligible applicants.
ELIGIBILITY
•The AA Theatre degree is intended for transfer, and CSN specifically directs students to meet with advising plus the UNLV or UNR transfer program.
AUDITION PROCESS
•No audition, prescreen, or interview is required for admission to CSN's AA Theatre program.
•Students enter through CSN's open-enrollment admissions process and then work with advising to build a theatre course plan.
•Production participation happens through coursework and department shows after enrollment.
