•Video Pre-selection — 6 Components (15-25 min total, non-European candidates)

PERSONAL INTRODUCTION (waist-up close shot)

•State full name, current city, country of birth and residence

•Age and height

•Brief dance training history — years, techniques, and styles

•Expected high school graduation year

•Why you chose Codarts Rotterdam and your personal goals

FLEXIBILITY DEMONSTRATION (on the floor)

•Full forward stretches demonstrating hamstring length

•Front splits — both sides

•Second position split with forward bend

•Butterfly (hip opener) — on back and stomach

•Backbend (cambré) while lying on stomach

BALLET DEMONSTRATION (one side per exercise)

•At barre: Plié and Grand Plié in all positions, Adagio with balance (Attitude back, Passé/Retiré), Grand Battements

•Center: Tendus and Battement Jeté from 5th with pirouettes, Adagio, Waltz with pirouettes, Petit Allegro, Grand Allegro

Modern/Contemporary Technique

•Two different combinations in the center

•Show variety in dynamics and space orientation

•Include floor work and travelling through space

•Non-European candidates use the online pre-selection video process

•Livorno partner deadline: March 20, 2026; late registrations accepted until April 1, 2026

Enrollment

•Fall enrollment only; 4-year programme

•Limited places available; apply early

•20 years or younger recommended for Year 1 admission and 22 or younger for Year 2

•Physical screening required at start of academic year

•IELTS Academic 5.5 or CEFR B2 required after acceptance, not for audition

•Diploma requirement: EQF-4 level or equivalent

•Valid Netherlands residential address required before October 1, 2026

•Rotterdam, Marseille, and Barcelona audition participation is free; Marseille and Barcelona optional workshops list a EUR 60 fee

•Porto and Livorno partner auditions may involve costs set by the partner organisation

What's The Process

VIDEO PRE-SELECTION (non-European candidates only)

•Submit one continuous video (15-25 min) via YouTube or Vimeo

•Register via Studielink, then upload video link in Osiris Application

•Results announced end of February — successful candidates invited to live audition

•Results communicated after each round

•Final results announced by mid-May 2026
