PROGRAM RECOGNITION
Theatre Studies is a broad, flexible concentration allowing students to sample acting, design, directing, dramatic literature, dance, and arts administration
NAST-accredited, ensuring high-quality education and professional standards
TRAINING
Curriculum includes a required Thesis Project (THEA 498) and Theatre Graduation Examination
Elective flexibility: up to 15 additional credits from a wide range of THEA and DANC courses, with caps of 6 credits each in performance, design, and dance
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
Four mainstage productions per year, plus student-directed work and an annual dance concert
Faculty are professional educators and artists who continue active careers in professional venues
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Supported by the CNU Theatre Guild and works in partnership with Riverside Performing Arts Medicine
FACILITIES
Housed in the Ferguson Center for the Arts, featuring the 440-seat proscenium Peebles Theatre and the 200-seat flexible Studio Theatre
