•The BFA Musical Theatre route pairs Eckerd's liberal-arts foundation with two years of Broadway-district conservatory study at Circle in the Square
•Circle coursework adds singing interpretation, musical theatre scene study, solo musical performance, private voice, music theory, ballet, and jazz to the shared acting core
•At Eckerd, students can continue across theatre, music, creative writing, visual arts, and film studies
Performance & Productions
•Eckerd presents faculty-directed and student-led productions, and students may propose musicals or plays to direct
•Acting opportunities extend to student films and the college's long-form improv troupe
Degree Flexibility
•Applicants may start at Eckerd and finish at Circle or complete Circle's Musical Theatre Track before moving to Eckerd
•Successful Circle study transfers at 31.5 semester hours for one year or 63 semester hours for the full two-year certificate toward the Eckerd-granted BFA Musical Theatre
