Program Overview
•The BA in Music, Music and Culture emphasis is a flexible degree to explore music history, jazz studies, music therapy, pop music, musical theatre, music psychology, world music, music tech, and film music
•Students develop a research specialty and complete an individual capstone research project
Training
•Coursework spans music theory, aural skills, sight reading, soloist proficiency on the main instrument, basic piano skills, and collaborative ensemble performance
•Led by musicologist Dr. Jessica Sternfeld, with expertise in musical theatre and American popular music

•Performance opportunities include Music at Noon concerts and conservatory ensembles (audition required)
