Teacher Preparation
•Supplemental theatre endorsement for grades 7-12
•Completed with Professional Education requirements and a subject/field endorsement in another discipline
•Theatre coursework covers acting, playscript analysis, directing, production, design, and performance
Theatre Training
•Students complete a 21-22 credit theatre sequence across performance, production, design, and directing
•Course choices include movement, acting methods, stage management, musical theatre, voice and dialects, stage combat, and technical/design areas
Productions
•Intimate, student-centered theatre program with opportunities to participate onstage or behind the scenes
•Active Black Box production season and theatre apprenticeship opportunities for participating students
