•Builds on Level 1 with acting technique, script analysis, movement, voice, technical theater, design, and production coursework
•Uses the same theater coursework as the AA Theater Arts Acting concentration, without the general-education requirements
Performance & Productions
•Students perform in faculty-directed mainstage plays and the "Emerging Works" series
•Three campus venues: the 1,432-seat Reed L. Buffington Visual & Performing Arts Center, the 111-seat Stage One Black Box Theater, and the 200-seat Little Theater
Notable Alumni
•Tom Hanks - two-time Oscar winner (Forrest Gump, Philadelphia); studied theater at Chabot, where his first student role was George in Our Town Degree Flexibility
•Most required courses also apply toward the AA-T in Theatre Arts
