Audition Format
•Three parts: vocal performance, musicianship test, and interview
•Musicianship test includes sight-reading and tonal memory exercises
•Interview covers career goals, performance experience, and program fit
Scheduling
•Submit online audition application at least two weeks before desired date
•Audition days include complimentary breakfast, lunch, chapel, and campus tour
•Custom dates available weekdays by permission of the music office
Recorded Audition
•Available for applicants living 300+ miles from campus
•Upload video to YouTube or Vimeo following on-campus audition guidelines
•Include required vocalizations in place of in-person tonal memory exercise
•Announce each piece before performing with breaks between selections
•Recording should not be edited or spliced
