Audition Format
•Three parts: piano performance, musicianship test, and interview
•Musicianship test includes scales, arpeggios, and a short sight-reading test
•Interview covers career goals, performance experience, and program fit
•Work with a teacher experienced in preparing college-level auditions
Scheduling
•Submit online audition application at least two weeks before desired date
•Audition days include complimentary breakfast, lunch, chapel, and campus tour
•Custom dates available weekdays by permission of the music office
Recorded Audition
•Available for applicants living 300+ miles from campus
•Upload video to YouTube or Vimeo following on-campus audition guidelines
•Announce each piece before performing with breaks between selections
•Recording should not be edited or spliced
•Send video links to musicandworship@cedarville.edu
