Audition Format
•Submit a portfolio of scores (with recordings if available) for faculty review
•Recordings are not required and applicants are not penalized if none are available
•Interview covering career goals, favorite music, and composition and performance experience
•Performance audition on your declared major instrument (voice, piano, or instrumental) following that area's guidelines
Off-Campus Option
•Applicants who cannot travel may submit the portfolio, recordings, music resume, and a video audition on the major instrument by email
Scheduling
•Submit online audition application at least two weeks before desired date
•Audition days include complimentary breakfast, lunch, chapel, and campus tour
•Custom dates available weekdays by permission of the music office
Recorded Audition
•Available for applicants living 300+ miles from campus
•Upload video to YouTube or Vimeo following on-campus audition guidelines
•Announce each piece before performing with breaks between selections
•Recording should not be edited or spliced
•Send video links to musicandworship@cedarville.edu
