•Vigorous coursework integrates voice, acting, music theory, keyboarding, and musical theatre history
•Classically-based vocal training plus musical theatre belt voice instruction
•Dance training across jazz, ballet, modern, and musical theatre styles
•Auditioning class included in the sophomore year curriculum
•Musical Theatre Workshop and Musical Theatre Scene Study give applied performance experience

•Department typically produces a full musical each season alongside straight plays and dance concerts
