Training
•Bullet: Two-year diploma in professional theatrical production and stagecraft, with practical work increasing each term across lighting, sound, scenic construction, prop making, scenic painting, and stage management.
•Bullet: Students take part in props construction, lighting hangs and focuses, set builds and load-ins, and serve as lighting, sound, and/or fly operators — plus dedicated stage-management training.
•Bullet: Coursework pairs hands-on production work with the history of performance and the roles and responsibilities of a professional theatre crew.
Professional Development
•Bullet: Students provide technical and creative support to live events in the BlueShore Centre for the Performing Arts, working on both professional and student productions.
Facilities
•Bullet: School of Performing Arts theatre spaces, rehearsal halls, and scene shops on the North Vancouver campus.
