Prepare one song from The Singers Theatre Musical Theatre Anthology.

Monologues

Prepare one contemporary monologue from the CapU Theatre provided selection.

Dance

Prepare the short choreography or dance-skills material supplied by CapU Theatre.

In-person auditions include a choreographed dance component that may use tap, jazz, or ballet technique.

Application Logistics

Domestic applicants pay C$50; international applicants pay C$135. Each fee covers up to 2 programs.

CapU emails program-specific audition, interview, or portfolio instructions after the university application is received.

What's The Process

Audition Process

Applicants who submit transcript, headshot, and resume materials are invited to audition.

In-person auditions include the monologue, song, and choreography or dance-skills material for a panel.

A faculty member may review choreography and provide guidance during the audition.

The audition day includes a short interview or group question-and-answer component.
