Training
•Two-year diploma in professional theatrical production and stagecraft, with practical work increasing each term across lighting, sound, scenic construction, prop making, scenic painting, and stage management.
•Students take part in props construction, lighting hangs and focuses, set builds and load-ins, and serve as lighting, sound, and/or fly operators — plus dedicated stage-management training.
•Coursework pairs hands-on production work with the history of performance and the roles and responsibilities of a professional theatre crew.
Professional Development
•Students provide technical and creative support to live events in the BlueShore Centre for the Performing Arts, working on both professional and student productions.
Facilities
•School of Performing Arts theatre spaces, rehearsal halls, and scene shops on the North Vancouver campus.
