Training
•Two-year, full-time diploma in the technical and creative aspects of costuming for theatre and film, covering costume history, textiles, wardrobe management, and cutting and construction.
•Each year offers specialty skills: corsetry, millinery, costuming for SPFX/VFX, textile enhancements, pattern draping, tailoring, and accessories; advanced years add design elements, budgeting, and planning.
Professional Development
•Students gain hands-on experience on up to 15 films and six mainstage theatre shows during the program.
•Industry-connected opportunities include internships/work placements, guest lectures, and workshops with professionals.
Facilities
•Housed within the School of Motion Picture Arts at the Bosa Centre for Film and Animation, integrating costume work with CapU's film-production environment.
