Training
•Three-year conservatory-style diploma: students move through all six terms with the same cohort, taking studio classes (on their feet, practical assignments) taught by working theatre, film, and TV professionals.
•Year 1 builds foundations in acting, improv, voice, movement, theatre history, and backstage work; Years 2-3 concentrate on performance, professional skills, directing, and screen-acting technique.
•Collaborates with CapU's School of Motion Picture Arts through shared courses and student film projects, so actors train for camera as well as stage.
Performance & Productions
•Year 2 performance project staged in the Arbutus Studio; Year 3 project staged in the BlueShore Theatre — both open to the public.
•Every third-year student performs in at least one Theatre Department mainstage show in the BlueShore Theatre.

•Gabrielle Miller — Lacey Burrows on CTV's Corner Gas (Gemini Award, multiple Leo Awards).
•Luisa d'Oliveira — Emori on The CW's The 100; also 50/50 and Percy Jackson & the Olympians.
