TRAINING & PERFORMANCE
•BA Music with Performance emphasis — voice students study within a broad musical education

What's The Process
ADMISSION PROCESS
•No audition required for admission — apply through the university application (Common App)
•Students accepted to Cal Lutheran may declare the Music major with Performance emphasis
VAPA SCHOLARSHIP AUDITION (OPTIONAL)
•In-person audition day for Music: February 22, 2026
•Virtual audition accepted in place of live audition
•Music department may request a follow-up interview via Zoom
•Those within 100 miles of campus strongly encouraged to audition in person for largest scholarships
•Accompanists provided for in-person auditions; recorded backing tracks not allowed
