PROGRAM RECOGNITION
•Interdisciplinary degree program within Theatre and Media Arts Department, fully supported by School of Music and Department of Dance
•Limited enrollment program designed to train performers for musical theatre and related performance disciplines
•Accredited by National Association of Schools of Theatre, Music, and Dance
TRAINING
•Expert vocal instruction in pop/belt, classical and rock styles
•Extensive dance training in jazz, contemporary, ballet, tap and ballroom
•Acting training includes Stanislavsky, Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner methods
•Business training on how to brand and market yourself
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•One main stage production each year plus secondary and workshop productions
•New York Showcase for graduating seniors presented to industry professionals
•Annual local showcase for all students
•Students work consistently for major regional summer theatre companies (MUNY, Tuacahn Amphitheater, Music Theatre Wichita, Sacramento Music Circus, Jackson Hole Playhouse, Hale Center Theatre)
•International touring opportunities with Young Ambassadors Musical Theatre company
