Live Audition
•Classical performance audition on your principal instrument or voice (same repertoire as the matching performance area)
•Piano applicants: three solos from three historical style periods, at least one memorized; sight-reading
•Voice applicants: pre-screen video required, then two contrasting classical art songs and/or arias, memorized
Music Education Interview
•15-minute interview with a Music Education faculty member
•Keyboard placement assessment and a musicianship placement exercise on audition day — for course placement only, not part of the admission decision
•Virtual auditions available on request via Zoom
