Monologues

Scholarship Audition Pieces

•Two prepared, memorized solo acting pieces, 3 min max combined

•Alternative: replace one monologue with a 16-bar song selection

•Be prepared to give the title of each piece

•Cold read of a short scene provided at the audition

•Introduce yourself and your interest in theatre

•Be prepared to cold read a short scene provided to you

Virtual Audition

•Video cropped hip-to-head (3/4 body), 3 min max

•Upload two unedited acting pieces to YouTube as unlisted video

•Email the link with submission documents to theatre@butlercc.edu
