•Four-year conservatory training combined with UB academics at a world-class research university
•Integrates artistic experiential training and interdisciplinary study to transform students into engaged, versatile, and skilled theatre artists
•Training in acting styles and methods for both stage and film, from classical to contemporary, plus directing, voice, movement, audition techniques, dance, stage combat, and poetic text
•Faculty maintain national and international profiles as directors, actors, choreographers, designers, and scholars
•Guest artists through IACE program provide lectures, workshops, and masterclasses
•Alumni return annually to share industry expertise
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•Perform in fully realized productions in state-of-the-art theatres
•Direct and perform in funded Student Directed Series productions

•Connections with Irish Classical Theatre, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Second Generation Theatre, and regional theatres

•International Artistic & Cultural Exchange (IACE) program since 1994:
•UK Culture & Performance Appreciation in London (winter session)
•Ireland: Plays and Places (16-day summer intensive with Galway International Arts Festival)
•Canada Performing Arts Experiential Research Program (Shaw Festival and Stratford Festival)
•Shakespeare Immersive Spring Break in Staunton, Virginia (American Shakespeare Center)
