TRAINING
•First-year Design, Production & Management Core provides broad foundation before declaring Stage Management
•Extensive mentored production work as stage managers and assistant stage managers each semester
•Typically 3-5 students declare Stage Management per year; courses average 8-10 students
•12:1 student-to-faculty ratio
•Partnership with BU Opera Institute for specialized opera stage management experience
•Curriculum integrates management, design, production, and performance coursework
