•Bullet: A common first year grounds students in music theory, aural skills, history, piano, and the University Hub before they shape an individualized path
Degree Flexibility
•Bullet: The route reserves extensive space for non-music electives, interdisciplinary study, an additional major or minor, and career-focused work in arts leadership or related fields
•Bullet: Up to six units of private lessons and/or ensembles may count with audition and faculty availability
•Bullet: Students can use the General route to include coursework toward Music Education licensure and complete a two-term capstone connecting their chosen areas
