Live Audition Class
•Technique class includes West African, hip-hop, ballet, modern, and jazz
•Class portion typically lasts about two hours, depending on applicant volume
•Brief informal faculty interview follows the class to discuss academic and artistic goals
•Tap combination is optional and used only for advanced placement
•Optional 90-second solo does not affect admission status or scholarship eligibility
Digital Dance Audition
•Submit 3-5 minutes of basic dance exercises in at least 3 of 5 forms: modern, hip-hop, West African, ballet, or jazz
•Perform a 90-second to 2-minute solo in any dance style
•Digital dance auditions due by 11:59 PM EST on February 1, 2027
