Training
•The 33-hour Theatre option includes Acting: Techniques, Acting: Scene Study, Directing for the Stage, Theatre History I and II, Theatre Practicum, Music Appreciation, and a two-semester Performing Arts Capstone
•Training spans acting, stagecraft, directing, theatrical design, stage management, and production work
Performance & Productions
•Theatre students work with the Hilltop Players, Bryan's troupe founded in 1962, in productions ranging from Greek tragedy to contemporary plays
•Students may act, assistant-direct, costume, design, or manage productions, and the Hilltop Players collaborate with the music department on musicals
•The Senior Production Project lets a student direct, design, or perform a culminating production
Facilities
•Theatre activity is centered in Brock Hall, with department events also using Rudd Auditorium
