Training
•The World Music minor examines music in global cultural contexts through music, history, and interdisciplinary coursework.
•Study options include the music of Africa, musics of the world, global traditions, and the relationship between music and society.
Performance & Productions
•Students can participate in ensembles such as Beginning and advanced West African Drumming, Chorale, Jazz Band, and other department groups.
Facilities
•Music students use dedicated practice and rehearsal spaces and the department’s Digital Audio Workshop.
