Audition Process
•Gainesville Theatre Alliance is currently accepting virtual submissions only for placement in university degree programs
•Submit materials through the GTA submission form by July 1, 2026
•Audition may include questions about professional goals and why you want to study musical theatre

Audition Expectations
•Prepare two contrasting vocal selections of musical theatre or pop repertoire (up to 32 bars, 60 seconds max)
•Prepare one monologue from a play, 45-60 seconds
•Dance call includes warm-up, technique across the floor, ballet portion, and jazz/MT combination; no prior experience required
