Application Logistics

The Fall 2027 GTA audition cycle opens August 1, 2026; virtual submissions are accepted beginning that day

The BA Theatre audition or portfolio review is optional for program admission but may be used for talent-scholarship consideration

University admission is a separate process through Brenau

Eligibility

Admission to Gainesville Theatre Alliance does not guarantee admission to Brenau University, and university admission does not guarantee GTA admission

The 2027-28 audition cycle opens August 1, 2026

An audition or portfolio review is required for placement in a Gainesville Theatre Alliance degree program

Applicants may attend an in-person event or submit virtually

University admission is a separate process; admission to GTA does not guarantee admission to Brenau University
