•Optional scholarship opportunity for accomplished vocalists

•Submit three vocal recordings (representing varying styles and languages) via SlideRoom
•Evaluated by Brandeis music faculty in conjunction with the Admissions office
•Awards private lessons, chamber performance, large ensemble opportunities, and a renewable scholarship
What's The Process
GATEWAY AUDITION PROCESS
•No audition required for university admission to the BA Music program
•Students are admitted to the program through the standard Brandeis University application process
•To pursue the Performance Track, an audition is normally required at the end of the sophomore year
•Students not selected for the Performance Track may continue in General, History and Culture, or Composition and Theory tracks

Scholarship Info
LEONARD BERNSTEIN SCHOLARS PROGRAM
•Highly selective scholarship for accomplished vocalists, violinists, and pianists
•Benefits: private lessons (free of charge), chamber music performance opportunities, large ensemble performance opportunities, and a renewable scholarship
•Scholars perform in chamber ensembles coached by members of the Lydian String Quartet and Music Department performance faculty
•Performance opportunities in the 200-seat Slosberg Recital Hall and community outreach events
