•Submit a 2-3 minute video or short written statement about the role the arts have played in your life and how you plan to engage with the arts in college; use words, movement, song, or another form, and do not submit clips from past performances
•The optional Arts Supplement is reviewed by Theater and Dance faculty
•Faculty commentary is sent to the Admissions Office on the applicant's behalf
•Transfer applicants may not submit an Arts Supplement
Transfer Pathway
Bowdoin admits transfer students with sophomore or junior standing. For the English and Theater major, up to two approved outside credits may satisfy English requirements, but no transfer credit may satisfy theater requirements.
