•Bullet: The 122-credit BM Percussion Performance degree develops snare drum, mallet, timpani, orchestral, and ensemble musicianship through applied lessons, theory, rhythm, ear training, score reading, and performance seminar
•Bullet: Students may study with one general percussion teacher or divide lessons among two, three, or all four studio teachers
•Bullet: The curriculum includes eight instrumental-ensemble credits, six percussion-ensemble credits, and two degree recitals
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Percussionists work in symphonic orchestras, chamber groups, student-produced collaborations, and pit orchestras for dance, opera, and theater
•Bullet: Access to Berklee College of Music adds faculty, classes, world-music ensembles, and performance settings beyond the Conservatory
Professional Development
•Bullet: Upper-level electives can cover performance technology, film, nonverbal communication, career skills, advanced rhythm, and score reading
