•Bullet: The 122-credit BM Harp Performance degree combines weekly private instruction with harp pedagogy, orchestral excerpts, performance seminar, theory, history, harmonization, improvisation, and sight-reading
•Bullet: Students complete six instrumental-ensemble credits, six chamber-music credits, and two degree recitals
•Bullet: Upper-level electives at the Conservatory and Berklee include career skills, Alexander Technique, arts journalism, and nonverbal communication
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Harpists perform as soloists and ensemble musicians at the Conservatory and with Greater Boston groups
•Bullet: Students may participate in GentleMUSES, a partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital that brings therapeutic harp performance to the Cancer Center and pediatric and neonatal intensive-care units
